A Particle of Love
From the sky above the starry veil,
You came, so suddenly, so frail,
Carrying a whisper, light as air,
A particle of love laid bare.
You came, a dream, an angel’s breath,
A fleeting touch, untouched by death,
Yet trapped in words, broken, scattered,
A language lost, a heart that shattered.
No time to blink, no space to stray,
You stayed, so suddenly, you stayed that way,
A fleeting shadow, a silent tune,
A love that flickered, gone too soon.
An illusion, woven, pale, and bright,
Born to fade into the night,
I kissed you, yet I found no trace,
Not a single particle of love’s embrace.
